Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Hybrid IFRA Business Expo 2022 has been successfully held in Jakarta. Organizing this license and franchise expo is an initial action to stimulate the national economy through this industry and lead the local products into the international market.

This innovation is also looked forward to reviving numerous license and franchise industries and expanding their business through the local and global market,” Daswar Marpaung, the President Director of Dyandra Promosindo, said.
The 20th IFRA Hybrid Business Expo, in conjunction with the 2nd ILE 2022, has been participated by around 250 companies of 375 prominent brands from diverse business sectors. The promoters recorded the exhibitors from various sectors participating in the expo, including Food and Beverage, Property, Oil and Gas, Retail Mini Market, Tour and Travel, Education Center, Water Refill, Beauty Health, and Spa.
Perceiving a high public interest to start their journey in the franchise sectors, the Chairman of Indonesia’s License Association (ASENSI), Susanty Widjaya, claimed the license businesses, including partnership, co-branding, distributorship, and franchising, have unlocked the market potential for the economy in Indonesia. She also revealed the local brand’s enhancement continued to grow during the pandemic, proving the new brand growth appeared through the partnership and franchising business strategy.
After holding the opening ceremony as an initial event series of this expo (08/05), the organizers also presented other enticing agendas. One of the programs is the Business Presentation of several speakers from Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade, the K-24 Pharmacy, Improtir.org, Modena, XL Axiata, Link Express, and Fitness Works, and the presentation related to the significance of business legality, delivered by ASENSI and MMP Law Firm. In addition, the visitor can obey an Interactive Quiz and Lucky Draw at the expo.
During the second day of the event (08/06), Dyandra Promosindo, together with ASENSI and AFI, involved multiple Indonesian celebrities who own the franchise business to spread their business insight to the visitors at the Celebpreneur Talkshow program. They include Andika Pratama from Hungrypedia and Denny Sumargo from Burger Bangor.
Several franchise player representatives of different sectors also appeared in the Business Presentation schedule, covering Educational Group Genius Aulad, CV CamCaw Indonesia, Shell, Ralali.com, Poney Children’s Apparel Franchise, and TapTalk.io. This insightful session is also enlivened by Albert Kong, Founder and CEO of the Asiawide Franchise Consultants, and Gian Carlo as the International Participant.

Through the 20th IFRA Hybrid Business Expo, in conjunction with ILE 2022, the license brands and local products are encouraged to continue to grow and expand their business network by augmenting their outlets and partnerships,” Susanty in her statement.
Likewise, the Chairman of Indonesia’s Franchise Association (AFI), Anang Sukandar, also suggested the authority is expected to motivate local entrepreneurs to observe the business opportunities, particularly for the Food and beverage industry in several Indonesia’s regions. Also, Anang hopes they can develop the business into a license and franchise.
