Heaptalk, Jakarta — On Thursday (02/20), Benyamin Davnie and Pilar Saga Ichsan were inaugurated as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang, marking their second term leading the city for the next five years from 2025 to 2030. After the inauguration, Benyamin-Pilar stated that they would continue multiple development programs and innovations that they initiated during their previous term.
South Tangerang City has become one of the areas experiencing rapid growth in infrastructure, education, and technology in recent years. Benyamin stated that in their five-year leadership ahead, the South Tangerang City Government will continue to support key national priority programs and carry on the priority programs that have been implemented in the region thus far.
“In the future, we will also support central government programs such as free nutritious meals and free health checks, which must be prioritized with a wider scope,” Benyamin said.
Pilar added that many regional programs will continue to be monitored and continued, including reducing stunting rates, infrastructure development and improvement, decent housing repairs, sanitation, and more. “We will also increase the total number of free school buses, infrastructure improvements, Tangsel Terang (Bright South Tangerang), Tangsel Sehat Prima (Prime Healthy South Tangerang), along with other programs,” he concluded.
