Isuzu MU-X 2024 and D-Max SC 2024 show up tougher at GIIAS 2024

Isuzu MU-X 2024 and Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 offer capable specifications for traversing various offroad areas.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) officially introduced the Isuzu MU-X 2024 and Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. Both vehicles have changed exterior and interior nuances, providing fresher options for Isuzu Partners who need offroad vehicles.

Yusak Kristian Solaeman, President Director of PT IAMI, explained that the Isuzu MU-X 2024 and Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 offer capable specifications for traversing various offroad areas. These light commercial vehicles (LCVs) also boast a bold and tough appearance, enhancing drivers’ confidence in various situations.

Yusak elaborated that the Isuzu MU-X 2024 display unit at GIIAS 2024 follows the concept of an overlanding essentials sport utility vehicle (SUV), making it an ideal adventure partner for conquering all terrains. Meanwhile, the Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 adopts a mining concept suitable for plantation, mining, oil & gas, and rental companies that require 4×4 vehicles in diverse offroad conditions. “All of this embodies Isuzu’s ‘Real Partner, Real Journey’ spirit, accompanying the business needs of Isuzu Partners,” said Yusak.

Isuzu MU-X 4×4 2024

This vehicle is designed with the RZ4E Turbo common rail diesel engine, capable of producing 150 PS of power and 35.7 kgm of torque. Its performance is more fuel-efficient yet remains powerful with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, this unit is equipped with an 80L fuel tank.

According to Yusak, drivers can seize broader business opportunities with this newly launched car, which can navigate offroad terrains using Rough Terrain mode with better traction than the Limited-slip Differential (LSD). He added, “The Isuzu MU-X 4×4 2024 also comes with radiator and intercooler protection behind the grill and underbody protection from front to back, allowing drivers to feel more confident when driving on any terrain, including rivers with certain depths, as the Isuzu MU-X 4×4 2024 has an 80 cm Water Wading Depth.”

This vehicle’s safety features are designed to high standards. It offers an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Hill Descent Control (HDC), along with larger disc brakes. Additional features include an emergency stop signal and follow-me-home.

Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024

The Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 also received updates in various aspects, including a bolder and tougher appearance. Its performance is geared by the RZ4E Turbo common rail diesel engine, capable of producing 150 PS of power and 35.7 kgm of torque. With a 6-speed automatic transmission, its performance is more fuel-efficient yet remains powerful. The Isuzu D-Max SC 2024 is also equipped with a 76L fuel tank.

The 4H and 4L modes enable this vehicle to tackle offroad tracks. The Rear Diff Lock provides better traction than the Limited-Slip Differential (LSD). The Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 also has a radiator, intercooler protection behind the grill, and underbody protection from front to back. This vehicle can cross rivers at certain depths with an 80 cm water wading depth.

The Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024’s safety features include an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic brake Force Distribution (EBD), and Brake Assist (BA).
