Heaptalk, Jakarta — Participating in one of world largest automotive exhibitions the 2024 GIIAS, Hino capitalized this golden moment to introduce its latest products, HINO 300 and HINO 500 FM 280 JD Retarder.
Launching this brand new trucks, Takashi Muto, the President Director of HMSI uttered, “Hino’s commitment in developing products and services is not only tough, but also present as a solution for transportation needs in Indonesia. Hino always innovates to create vehicles that suit the business of customers in Indonesia.”.
HINO 300 offers bigger load capacity and is over dimension over loading (ODOL) free. Featuring 36 HDL 6×2 light duty truck with 6×2 configuration in Indonesia, Hino claims that the truck has a larger GVW of 14 Tons and perfect for CPO transportation in narrow road terrain.
On the second line, Hino introduced HINO 500 FM 280 JD Retarder, a medium duty truck that has been the market leader for the past 24 years. According to Takashi Muto, the vehicle is now equipped with a retarder, an additional electromagnetic braking system that is able to slow down the speed of the vehicle in off road areas or rough terrain. Applying this technology, HINO 500 FM 280 JD Retarder is claimed can improve driving safety and efficient use of brake canvases.
Showing its presence at the 2024 GIIAS, Hino also displayed four other products, including Bus AK 240, GB Bus 150 L AT, Hino 300 – 136 HD, and Hino 700 – ZS 4141.
Hino Bus AK 240 with a new body application for large front-engine buses. The bus features a space frame rear frame design that provides a larger cargo area, suitable for various transportation needs. The next bus unit, Hino displays medium bus line-up, Hino GB Bus 150 L AT which is specially designed to support urban transportation with high comfort and efficiency.
Entering the truck line up is Hino 300 – 136 HD with LED BOX display which is a multifunctional vehicle that is right for various business needs. Finally, Hino displays units in Heavy-Duty Truck class, that is Hino 700 – ZS 4141 the right solution for mining operations with heavy terrain.
