Heaptalk, Jakarta — Mumtaz Creative will host the Halal Kulture Market Indonesia from November 1 to 3, 2024, at Hall 1-2 ICE BSD, Tangerang. The three-day event manifests concern and effort toward developing the spiritual quality of Millennials and Gen Z.
“The sophistication of digital technology has factually provided digital spaces that build the spiritual construction of Millennials and Gen Z in a hybrid manner, making it less substantive. We present the Halal Kulture Market to provide a space for existence and actualization for them in deeply understanding Deen Al-Islam according to the guidance of the Prophet,” said Agung Paramata, CEO of Mumtaz Creative, during the launch of the Halal Kulture Market in Jakarta on Thursday (07/11).
The Halal Kulture Market is a platform that connects the halal lifestyle culture packaged creatively. Agung stated, “By internalizing the principles of a halal lifestyle, it is hoped that Millennials and Gen Z can become agents of change who bring inspiration, hope, and goodness to society and their environment.”
Moreover, this exhibition is also a business ecosystem that stimulates the growth of creative hijrah communities among young people who create contemporary halal products. The strengths of Millennials and Gen Z are not only being tech-savvy and skilled but also being creative and innovative in their work, ranging from art, design, and fashion to technology. They also dare to try new things and have an independent spirit, including entrepreneurship.
Therefore, Agung hopes that the Halal Kulture Market can become a business incubator and branding for the growth of independent brands created by young people that stand out in terms of formulation, packaging design, marketing methods, and shopping experience. Indie brands build a fan base more quickly due to a friendlier communication style. “The Halal Kulture Market is expected to become a halal lifestyle trendsetter for Millennials and Gen Z, eagerly awaited for its presence, as many new things are launched at this event,” said Agung.
This event, which will cover an area of 15,000 m², will feature around 200 exhibitors from various established and independent brands. They will present a wide range of product categories, such as fashion, herbal and pharmaceuticals, halal cosmetics, halal travel, education, halal food and beverages, Islamic finance, Islamic weddings, and multiproducts.
In line with the event theme “Connected, elevated halal into your lifestyle,” Mumtaz Creative collaborates with various partners and communities to present fresher programs across several districts. These include an activism district showcasing VM n Art Area, live performances, a second hobby district, a mini sports league, barber cuts, stage activities, and a kids’ playground. This district also provides a reading corner for parents and children.
Being held for the first time this year, Agung Paramata is optimistic that the Halal Kulture Market can attract around 25,000 visitors. Currently, Mumtaz Creative is still open to opportunities for partners who want to collaborate and support the widespread adoption of the halal lifestyle among young people.
