Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Regional Regulation Formation Agency (Bapemperda) of the Bengkulu City Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) conducted a benchmarking visit to the Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo) of Depok City to learn about SPBE implementation. (05/30)
Depok City was chosen as the benchmarking site due to its advanced implementation of SPBE, especially in developing and enhancing applications, intelligent city management, and public service and government administration portals.
“We visited Depok City as the city possesses multiple innovations. Its SPBE implementation is also more advanced than other cities,” said Solihin Adnan, Chairman of Bapemperda DPRD Bengkulu City, after visiting the Diskominfo office in the Dibaleka II Building.
He explained that in Bengkulu City, the focus is still on essential public relations functions, including the existing applications. Therefore, he hopes that this visit will help them implement innovations to provide better services to the public.
“Depok City always has continually evolving innovations. All activities are digitized with a spirit of transparency and accountability in government administration. In the future, we will create regulations related to SPBE in the form of Regional Regulations,” he added.
Meanwhile, Manto, Head of Diskominfo Depok City, welcomed the delegation from DPRD Bengkulu City. During the visit, he explained the mechanisms, implementation, and common challenges in operating SPBE.
“We have implemented SPBE in almost all the departmental units in Depok City. SPBE is a necessity that we must apply and develop. By using SPBE, we can also minimize illegal fees,” Manto continued.
“Hopefully, what we have explained can be implemented and beneficial for Bengkulu City,” he concluded.
