Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Governor of North Kalimantan, Zainal Paliwang, accompanied by Provincial Secretary Suriansyah, attended the National Development Planning Conference 2024 (Musrenbangnas), which the Ministry of National Development Planning organized.
During the sidelines of the agenda, Zainal claimed that his parties were prepared to follow up on Indonesia’s President Joko ‘Jokowi‘ Widodo’s mandate.
“In the President’s mandate, Zainal elaborated on the President’s asking the President to urge regional officials to perform concrete moves and be more careful in fiscal and budget planning. Jokowi suggested that we don’t let a single budget be wasted from the plans we have arranged in this national deliberation,” Zainal said in his statement.
As Joko Widodo said, the national deliberation aims to harmonize and synchronize programs in regional and central government with current long—and medium-term development plans. However, the President observed that the synchronization issue still needs to be resolved.
“Therefore, synchronizing Government Work Plan 2025 should follow the country’s principles. Once again, I affirmed that the program arranged should be in line, in rhythm.” North Kalimantan Governor, Zainal explained.
Closing the conversation, Zainal affirmed that preparing the Government Work Plan (RKP) 2025 refers to Law (UU) No. 25 2004 concerning the National Development Planning System mandating the Ministry of National Development Planning.
