Heaptalk, Jakarta – In order to firm the strategy and programs for the next year, the Ministry of Trade will hold a meeting in Semarang, Central Java in 20—21 February 2024.
Trade Minister, Zulkifli Hasan, will lead the work meeting. The theme of the discussion is called “Ekspansi Perdagangan Sebagai Kunci Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Nusantara yang Inklusif dan Berkelanjutan”
“The Trade Ministry is ready to hold a work meeting in Semarang on the next 20—21 February 2024. Hopefully, this meeting can result in a productive achievement to strengthen the progress of the Trade Ministry’s work for the next year,” said Zulkifli Hasan.
The 2024 work meetings will be attended by Trade Ministry’s employees, overseas trade representatives, as well as representatives of provincial, district and city trade agencies.
There will also be academics, professional, as well as district heads to participate the panel discussions regarding the inter-regional escalation trade and utilization of export market potential.
There are also several ministers that will participate in the meeting to engage in discussions. Said ministers are Economic Affairs Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartarto, National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency Minister Suharso Monoarfa, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, and State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas.
Zulkifli Hasan added, the Trade Ministry is committed to contribute for the economic development.
“The upcoming work meeting becomes one of the ways of Kemendag’s commitment to participate on the development. The work meeting becomes Kemendag’s way to ensure said commitment is fulfilled,” said Zulkifli Hasan.
The Minister also said, the 2024 work meeting will discuss Kemendag’s strategy in strengthening domestic market, exports, governance and improving human resources within the Ministry of Trade, as well as the trade sector in general.
Zulkifli Hasan optimists for the work meeting will run smoothly.
