Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia’s secondhand car startup, Broom, announced its strategic affiliation with an artificial intelligence (AI) developer based in Singapore, 6Estates Pte Ltd. The cooperation was inaugurated at the Singapore Fintech Festival. (11/15)
In this cooperation, Broom will optimize its service Buyback by integrating 6Estates company’s AI technology. This move is expected to enable used car showroom business owners to temporarily sell their inventory to Broom to increase their business turnover from the temporary sales proceeds.
The CEO of Broom, Pandu Adi Laras, revealed, “Having deep insight into our showroom partners and creating an experience that makes them a priority is crucial to the Broom business. For this reason, we are very enthusiastic about integrating the AI solutions developed by 6Estates to advance the used car ecosystem, which continues to grow in Indonesia.
According to Broom’s data, the archipelago possessed around 50,000 used car showrooms. The data also disclosed that the sales of secondhand car products are higher than new cars, attaining fourfold with a transaction value of Rp9.7 trillion annually.
As a part of the collaboration form, this automotive startup will use the Intelligent Document Processing solution that 6Estates developed, powered by AI. With this technology assistance, Broom Company can elevate efficiency, accuracy, and analysis depth towards the necessary documents in the Buyback application process, including the Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK) and Vehicle Proof of Ownership Book (BPKB).
As a result, Broom Startup can obtain a more precise and comprehensive description of its showroom partners’ business health and asset ownership. By verifying the business progress of its partners, this strategic collaboration will enable this startup to arrange appropriate business plans to maintain company efficiency and achieve positive growth.
