Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (Ticker code: ISAT) announced the new composition of its board of directors (BOD) during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Monday (05/15).
In the meeting, Ritesh Kumar Singh and Desmond Cheung were appointed as the new directors. In addition, IOH also agreed to choose Ahmad Zulfikar Said as Chief Strategy and Execution Officer to replace Armand Hermawan.
“I would like to deliver my gratitude to the shareholders for giving me an opportunity to contribute to Indosat. Hereafter, I hope my presence can elevate the business of Indosat in the telecommunication industry,” stated Ahmad during the public expose of IOH.
In this new composition, the number of IOH BOD transforms from only five people to seven people with the detail as follow:
- President Director: Vikram Sinha
- Director: Irsyad Sahroni
- Director: Ritesh Singh
- Director: Ahmad Zulfikar Said
- Director: Desmond Cheung
- Director: Muhammad Buldansyah
- Director: Nicky Lee Chi Hung
For information, Ahmad has over 14 years in the media industry. Ahmad was the Chief Financial and Technical Officer of PT Cakrawala Andalas Televisi, or known as ANTV, from 2015 until now. He also was the Vice President of PT Bakrie Global Ventura (2011 to now), Chief Technical Officer (CFO) of PT Viva Sports Indonesia (2011-2013) and Finance Director of PT. Lativi Mediakarya (2009-2010). Moreover, Ahmad also was General Manager at B-Tel BOD Office of PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (2008-2009).
Apart from his working experience, Ahmad was the student of University of New Haven, majoring in Master of Science in Finance and Financial Services. Previously, He graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
In addition to announcing the new BOD, the meeting also decided to channel dividends of Rp 2.06 trillion derived from the company’s net profit in 2022. This dividend equals Rp 255.7 per share to the shareholders.
