WIR Group cooperates with UBM, evolves metaverse in the education sector

Heaptalk, Jakarta — A technology company PT WIR Asia Tbk (WIR Group) announced its strategic collaboration with Bunda Mulia University (UBM) to adopt metaverse technology in the education institution. 

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Kandi Sofia Senastri Dahlan, Vice-Rector for Academic of UBM, and Gupta Sitorus, Chief Marketing Officer of WIR Group at the WIR Group office, East Jakarta (03/06). This cooperation is expected to bring a high-quality education for the rising generation.

In response to this strategic collaboration, Kandi stated, “The presence of metaverse platform in the UBM university is a part of our dedication in ensuring academic institution’s readiness to encounter the future through the digital transformation. By absorbing metaverse technology, we expect to deliver unlimited solutions for students,”

Kandi also affirmed that metaverse development in the educational organization aims to create the digital-savvy alumnus, making them to be more expert in several industries through technology utilization. She shares her optimism as technology adoption can encourage the Indonesian juvenile generation to increase their skills. Kandi stated that this action aligns with UBM’s tagline “Bridging Education to the Real World.”

In its implementation, the WIR Group will continue to provide a liveable world of metaverse for everyone. The previous accomplishment of WIR Group has also gained excellent recognition from multiple countries worldwide. Likewise, this company has assisted several Indonesia’s educational institutions in penetrating the digital ecosystem.

The Chief Marketing Officer of WIR Group, Gupta Sitorus, revealed his appreciation for this partnership. He also added that the Company will bolster metaverse technology implementation for this educational organization to bring its students and lecturers into the new educational ‘space’ in the country.

“The collaboration with UBM university is a part of our cooperation series with other educational institutions in Indonesia. By employing the metaverse technology in UBM, we expect the student can enter the further phases of digital transformation. With our expertise in providing the best digital solution to our local and international partners, we are confident in delivering a contribution to improving Indonesia’s digital economy.” Gupta said in his closing statement.
