Heaptalk, Jakarta — On Wednesday (06/12), Stratus Technologies, Inc. officially introduced its latest-generation fault-tolerant computing platform, Stratus ztC Endurance, in Indonesia.
This platform introduces intelligent predictive fault tolerance, providing 99.99999% availability and enhanced performance through next-generation technology components, including 4th Generation Intel Xeon® Scalable processors.
The ztC Endurance platform is based on a unique combination of embedded software and hardware, proactive health monitoring, and service simplicity to run critical applications without downtime or data loss. This is highly beneficial for various industries in Indonesia, including financial services, oil and gas, transportation, manufacturing, mining, food and beverage, and data centers. Governments can also use it as a data repository.
“Stratus ztC Endurance platform represents a significant milestone in Stratus’s 44-year history of fault-tolerant innovation. By providing 99.999995% availability, a modernized system architecture, and unparalleled performance, we empower organizations to embark on their digital journey confidently without sacrificing reliability or manageability,” said Lin Hoe Foong, Managing Director of Stratus Asia South.
Foong added, “With the Stratus ztC Endurance platform, we deliver exceptional reliability and performance, empowering organizations to achieve their digital transformation goals with unmatched system availability and ease of use.”
Meanwhile, Gerry Santoso, Country Manager for Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei, and Pakistan at Stratus, stated, “The market potential for ICT services in Indonesia is enormous, with expectations to reach US$78 billion from 2019 to 2022. This drives us to focus on enhancing our efforts toward future growth and expansion following the launch of its Endurance in Indonesia. This strategic step includes strong plans to triple our number of local partners by 2029. By significantly expanding our reseller network, Stratus aims to increase market penetration, extend customer reach, and strengthen its presence in the Indonesian ICT landscape.”
During the occasion, Gerry also highlighted the benefits of the Stratus ztC Endurance portfolio, which eliminates system downtime and data loss (including in-process data) through built-in fault tolerance that is transparent to operating systems and hosted applications.
“This platform does not require additional scripts or modifications and provides proactive health monitoring. This powerful combination allows OT and IT teams to run critical applications and complex software stacks without needing to be server experts,” he concluded.
