Redmi 10 5G officially launches, 5G phone with a competitive price

Heaptalk, Jakarta — Xiaomi Indonesia has officially introduced Redmi 10 5G as the latest 5G entry-level smartphone in Indonesia (02/08). This smartphone has enabled a 5G network and delivers a flagship-like experience at a reasonable price to assist the rising generation in their digital entertainment activity.

The Product Marketing Manager of Xiaomi Indonesia, Calvin Nobel, stated the presence of Redmi 10 5G is the initial Redmi series product that supports 5G networks in Indonesia. He also claimed this launch is a part of Xiaomi’s readiness as the device ecosystem to welcome the fifth-generation network in the country.

“We intend to launch Xiaomi line-up, namely Redmi 10 5G, focusing on providing a flagship product with affordable prices. Consumers can upgrade their device through this smartphone as a part of their readiness to welcome the 5G technology. Thus, Xiaomi Indonesia launched the Redmi 10 5G as a people’s preference who want to experience the future-proof aspect of smartphones to be operated daily,” stated Calvin during the virtual Press Conference (08/03).

The company has embedded a fast chipset, namely MediaTek Dimensity 700, with the fabrication of 7nm. Also, the new Redmi series is powered by a CPU Octa-core with speed up to 2.2 GHz and GPU ARM Mali-G57 MC2. By employing this modern technology, this smartphone can deliver its expeditious performance to the users with an added network of 5G that makes this device future-proof.

In addition to an advanced chipset, Xiaomi provides the LPDDR4X RAM + UFS 2.2 storage with Write Booster, creating Redmi 10 5G even faster in downloading, processing, or opening multiple files and applications. Besides fast performance experience, this newest Redmi series enables two sim cards used in the phone to run in 5G networks.

Perceiving its battery capacity, Xiaomi Indonesia supports the Redmi 10 5G with a fast charging technology of 18W. This series is equipped with a 22.5W in-box charger in the selling package, accessible to be connected through a USB-C port. With its 5000mAh battery capacity, users can use this phone to listen to music for up to 189 hours and watch videos for 22 hours.

To grant an impressive audio-visual, the Redmi 10 5G is launched with FHD + Dot Drop LCD sized 6.58″ and contains a resolution 2408×1080 with refresh rate up to 90Hz. The screen of this smartphone is also equipped with Adaptive Sync technology to adjust to the smartphone operating conditions. The Sunlight and Display and Reading Mode 3.0 are also present to protect the user’s eyes during smartphone use. While on the audio side, the newest Redmi series contained Hi-Res Audio certification for loud and clear sound quality.

From the camera features, this series has provided its primary camera of 50MP with an f/1.8 lens opening to produce high-resolution pictures. The Night Mode, owned by this device, is also introduced to shoot objects with low lighting. Besides presenting an advanced primary camera, this phone has a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 of the opening lens, giving the satisfying experience with a bokeh effect naturally. Consumers can also experience the front camera with 5MP resolution with the opening lens of f/2.2 to have a seamless video call experience with the 5G network support.

The Redmi 10 series has 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9 mm dimensions, weighs 200 grams, and implements flat-edge design technology to give a more trendy impression. For its protection technology, Redmi 10 series has been furnished with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 on the front side to secure the phone screen from scratches. In addition, other security technologies, including Side Fingerprint Sensor and AI Face Unlock features, have also been enabled in the Redmi 10 5G.

For the color preferences, Xiaomi Indonesia provides three color options for Redmi 10 5G: Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver, and Aurora Green. Also, from the storage side, this smartphone is provided with 2GB and 4GB RAM. Users can extend the RAM storage up to 2GB with the RAM expansion feature in this device and experience the extensive internal storage of 128GB with additional Micro SD storage that can be expanded up to 512GB.

The gadget enthusiasts can purchase this latest Redmi 10 5G on August 8th, 2022, through online stores, spanning Mi.com, Shopee, Tokopedia, Blibli, Lazada, Akulaku, and JD.ID. Meanwhile, they can also purchase this newest series through offline stores, including Xiaomi Store, Xiaomi Shop, and Erafone.

Xiaomi Indonesia offers various prices for the device that is categorized based on storage capacity. The Redmi 10 5G will be priced at US$187 for RAM of 4G with 128GB internal storage and US$201 for RAM 6GB with128GB internal storage.
