Heaptalk, Jakarta — LinkedIn announced the pilot of its recent AI-powered tool called Recruiter 2024 (10/03). The new AI-assisted recruiting experience is claimed to make hiring easier and more efficient. That way, talent leaders can focus on the most strategic, people-centric work for their jobs.
The recruitment tool combines generative AI with insights gained from over 950 million professionals, 65 million companies, and 40,000 skills in its platform. “We’ve reimagined our Recruiter product to help our customers find that short list of qualified candidates—faster,” stated VP of Product at LinkedIn Hari Srinivasan on the official blog (10/03).
In more detail, the tool can provide personalized, real-time suggestions to help expand or modify searches, such as suggesting targeted location expansions and adding the fastest-growing skills based on the role. Further, the Recruiter can also recommend whether a role should be merged based on talent in that area.
To use the Recruiter feature, headhunters can type natural language and put their hiring goal in their own words, for example, ‘I want to hire a senior growth marketing leader’. Srinivasan said, “With generative AI combined with our insights, we can infer the type of candidate the hirer is looking for and provide higher-quality candidate recommendations from a much wider pool of candidates—moving beyond the brand-name companies that have traditionally been the default.
Simultaneously, LinkedIn released CRM Connect, an integration that connects the Recruiter and Candidate Relationship Management systems, to offer headhunters a more efficient way of working across both systems. The feature is launched with several initial partners, including Avature, Beamery, Clinch, Jobvite, and Radancy.
Introducing AI-powered coaching tool LinkedIn Learning
In addition, the platform also introduced an AI-powered coaching tool in LinkedIn Learning to help HR professionals focus on what matters most. The tool provides a chatbot experience offering real-time advice and tailored content recommendations based on job title, career goal, and the skills followed.
Further, learners can leverage this new tool to find the right content faster. Instead of browsing and searching, the AI tool inside Learning will put together personalized course and video recommendations in seconds.
“We’ll begin piloting Recruiter 2024 and LinkedIn Learning’s AI-powered coaching to a small handful of customers today, with plans to roll them out to all Recruiter and Learning Hub customers throughout the year,” concluded Srinivasan.
