Ingram Micro ties up with Red Hat, delivers open source solutions for Indonesia’s enterprises

Ingram Micro cooperates with Red Hat

Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Ingram Micro Indonesia, the technology product distributor, has partnered with Red Hat to distribute an open source solution for enterprises in Indonesia. 

According to the agreement, Ingram Micro will distribute the Red Hat product series, including technology infrastructure, integration, cloud, application development, and automatization management. Also, the company will focus on several solutions owned by Red Hat, including Red Hat enterprises Linux, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift in Indonesia.

Responding to the cooperation, the Managing Director of Ingram Micro Indonesia, Mulia Dewi Karnadi, uttered, “We are pleased to put Red Hat technology products into our solutions for enterprises throughout Indonesia. This strategic action enables us to present countless end-to-end solutions with more significant added value for our users,”

Mulia also added the team would contribute to Ingram’s partner, particularly for commercial activity. She revealed that Ingram would offer several solutions from diverse sectors, including technology empowerment, domain sources, and the establishment of market needs with the support of Ingram’s technology center in Singapore, namely the Asia Pacific Technology Experience Center (TEC).

Ingram’s TEC, recently, is equipped with integrated Ansible and OpenShift solutions that have been ready to be demonstrated. By providing this technology center as a testing space facility, this IT company intends to grant experience for Ingram’s digital products to customers in real-time before implementing for a long-term operation.

The Country Manager of Red Hat Indonesia, Vony Tjiu, stated, “Red Hat intends to offer complete open-source solutions for many enterprises in Indonesia to build more powerful business ecosystem. Through this strategic collaboration, we aim to assist our customers in enhancing technology-based open-source with high-end performance.”

Prior to this collaboration, PT Ingram Micro Indonesia successfully delivered its advanced solution for diverse enterprises in Indonesia. The customers have experienced Ingram’s four digital transformation pillars: Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security transformation, Workforce Automation, and Digital Application transformation.

“As a distributor, we will certainly need to build partnerships from multiple stakeholders in Indonesia in  accordance with their expertise.
