Heaptalk, Jakarta — Acer, a Taiwan-based hardware and electronics corporation, introduces new family members of the thin laptop series Swift for Indonesia’s market, namely Swift Edge and Swift 3 OLED (12/10). The two new products complement the existing Swift series line, spanning Swift X and Swift 5 Aerospace.
Swift 3 OLED is priced starting at Rp13,499,000 for the Intel Core i5 and Rp16,499,000 for the Intel Core i7, while Swift Edge is available at the price of Rp19,999,000. Both devices have been supported by organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens that are rich in color and safe for the eyes.
Swift Edge has the world’s lightest 16-inch laptop with a weight of 1.1kg suitable for supporting mobile workers’ activities. Equipped with a 4K OLED screen and designed in ice blue color, Swift Edge is ideal for accompanying users to enjoy entertainment, including watching music videos or movies.
Meanwhile, Swift 3 OLED which has a high resolution 2.8K OLED screen is proper for workers who need the finest visual screen support for work productivity and also supports learning activities.
The launch of Swift’s new members carries a campaign of I Go with Swift. Swift Edge is equipped with a 100% DCI-P3 color range resulting in higher color accuracy and is supported by a maximum brightness of up to 500 nits and a response time of less than 0.2 ms. The device has a thickness of only 12.95 mm with a combination of magnesium-aluminum chassis, making it comfortable for users with high mobility.
The device is powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 series mobile processors that offer high processing speed and responsiveness. This laptop has thin bezels with a screen-to-body ratio of up to 92%. Swift Edge also obtained display certification of a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe to deliver a comfortable viewing experience.
Swift Edge has Wi-Fi 6E support for high-speed wireless connection and file sharing as well as a smooth 4K streaming experience. The laptop also supports various ports, spanning HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with fast charging capabilities, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The slim laptop design has received international recognition through the 2022 Good Design Award and the 2022 RedDot Winner.
Acer Swift 3 OLED
Through a 2.8K OLED screen, Swift 3 OLED can satisfy users’ eyes when carrying out various activities, ranging from work presentations and editing to playing games. The device has a 14-inch OLED display and a resolution of up to WQXGA+ (2,880 x 2800 pixels) with 100% DCI-P3 high-accuracy color coverage. The bezels are made thin with a screen-to-body ratio of 92%.
Likewise Swift Edge, Swift 3 OLED has also obtained display certification of TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe, indicating the screen has blue light levels that are safe for the eyes in long-term use.
Swift 3 OLED comes with two processor options, spanning Intel Core i5-12500H and Intel Core i7-12700H. The processor will allow users to multitask with 1.6 times better performance. The performance is maximized with Intel Iris Xe Graphics designed to process a variety of graphics and multimedia needs.
