Heaptalk, Karawang – Toyota Indonesia has remained consistent in its support of the government’s efforts to accelerate the National Vaccination Program for individuals in various regions of Indonesia. Toyota Indonesia, in collaboration with the Karawang Regency Government, Karawang Kodim, Karawang Police, and APINDO (Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association) Karawang, visited Cibuaya Beach, Pangkalan, and Segaran, remote areas of Karawang, West Java, today (Sunday, August 8), to provide vaccinations and 1,000 food packages containing food for daily basic needs to 1,500 residents.

This action is part of the 76,500 free immunization doses for the general public that has been ongoing since mid-2021. Donation of Essential Materials to Assist Citizens

In addition to the vaccination program, Toyota Indonesia prepared and distributed 5,100 packages of basic daily necessities to residents in Karawang, West Java, and Sunter, Jakarta, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents of Karawang and Sunter had previously received 4,000 food packages from Toyota Indonesia for daily needs.

Since the pandemic began last year, Toyota Indonesia has also donated mobility and personal protective equipment to assist the community and the Indonesian government. A total of 17 Kijang Innova ambulances have been distributed to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the Karawang Regency Government, the Bekasi Regency and City Government, and Islamic Boarding Schools. and neighborhood residents.

Toyota Indonesia also works with various of institutions, including the University of Indonesia, the Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD), and several supply chains, to develop personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks, flocked swabs, medical googles, hazmat suits, and bag valves. face shields and masks

The Covid Alert Village Program Improves COVID-19 Knowledge and Understanding

TMMIN has also organized the COVID-19 Alert Village Program (KSC) since September 2020, which is a program that facilitates TMMIN employees to become agents of change that encourage community development and independence. in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. In Karawang, Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor and Depok, 100 COVID-19 Alert Villages exist.
