Heaptalk, Jakarta — Telkom Indonesia has affiliated with Huawei Indonesia to develop business-to-business (B2B) services and solutions. In this strategic collaboration, Telkom’s Strategic Portfolio Director, Budi Setyawan Wijaya, and CEO of Carrier Network Business Group Huawei Indonesia, Steven Wang, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) directly in Jakarta. Several parties also attended this MoU signing agenda, including the Director of Digital Business of Telkom, Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid, CEO of Huawei Indonesia, Long, CTO of Huawei XToB Business, Jennifer Zhang, Director of Huawei Cloud APAC, Benson Qin, and CEO of Huawei Cloud Indonesia, James Zhang.
Based on the agreement, the affiliation between these entities will focus on two pillars. In the first pillar, Telkom Indonesia and Huawei Indonesia will focus on exploring and implementing the latest technology, including cloud and data centers. This effort aims to create new business revenue for this company from its B2B segments.
Meanwhile, in the second pillar, these entities will expedite the development of Telkom Group’s expertise through collaborative implementation of training and certification programs focused on developing digital skills and innovation.
“Telkom and Huawei will provide cloud-based digital services targeted at SMEs, enterprises, and government. This step aligns with the company’s initiative to lead Indonesia’s B2B Information Technology (IT) market segment through the Five Bold Moves strategy. This cooperation also accelerates Indonesian digital talents to reinforce business and local community,” said Telkom’s Strategic Portfolio Director, Budi Setyawan.
This collaboration is claimed to be part of Telkom’s transformation steps through the Five Bold Moves strategy to build the company’s competitive advantages and leadership in the industry, primarily through the B2B Digital IT Service segment by developing cloud and data centers.
