Heaptalk, Jakarta — Approximately 6.6 million taxpayer records of Indonesian citizens have been leaked. A hacker account named Bjorka posted the data on Breach Forums, listing a price of $10,000, or about Rp152.3 million (with an exchange rate of $1 equal to Rp15,252).
This hacker, which previously leaked SIM card data, provided 10,000 sample records of taxpayer data. Among the top 25 names in the sample are President Jokowi and his two sons, Gibran and Kaesang, as well as several ministers, including Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir.
“Tax ID numbers belonging to Jokowi, Gibran, Kaesang, the Minister of Communication, Sri Mulyani, and other ministers have also been leaked in the sample provided by the perpetrator,” wrote cybersecurity consultant Teguh Aprianto in a post on X (formerly Twitter) (09/18).

The leaked data contains personal information such as national identity numbers, tax identification numbers, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. However, Falcon Feeds, a cybersecurity company, mentioned in their post on X that the authenticity of this information has not yet been verified.
In response to the alleged data breach, Dwi Astuti, Director of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations at the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), Ministry of Finance, stated that they are currently investigating the matter. “Regarding the information on the circulating data breach, the DJP technical team is currently conducting an investigation,” Dwi said as Antara quoted.
