Heaptalk, Jakarta — Singapore’s AI-powered B2B startup Ailytics secured its oversubscribed Pre-Series A funding at US$2.7 million, led by Tin Men Capital. The startup will use the funds to expand its services to other key regional markets, such as Hong Kong, the Middle East, Japan, and Oceania.
Responding to this investment, CEO of Ailytics Lenard elaborated that they will increase their Research and Development (R&D) moves to build the next generation of Video Analytics solutions powered by Large Vision Models (LVM) capable of handling complex domain-specific tasks.
He added, “By prioritizing safety, we aim to mitigate worksite accidents and minimize occupational hazards while enhancing process efficiency and maximizing ROI. Above All, our mission is to safeguard the lives of workers, underlining our commitment to safety and excellence,”
Founded in 2021 by Wie Zhuang (Lenard) Tan and Prateek Manocha, this startup taps into existing cameras to provide real-time actionable insights into unsafe acts, productivity metrics, and security breaches. Ailytics’ product can provide 3D dimensions using a 2D video feed from any single camera, enabling the deployment of complex use cases, including calculating the danger zone under heavy load and a fixed radius around hazardous equipment. The solution can be accurately deployed using low-resolution cameras, even in harsh environments, making it suitable for dynamic environments in construction sites and manufacturing plants.
This AI-powered B2B startup solution has already been implemented in over 70 projects, integrating with over 1000 cameras spanning four countries and multiple industry verticals. It has also enabled customers to reduce the need for manual inspections by up to 50% while increasing hazard detection by up to 7x.
Furthermore, Ailytics claimed that operational productivity has also increased by up to 25%, and companies obtained a return on investments within months of using the solution by reducing bad behavior, downtime from audits, stop-work orders, and fines. Its clients include Jurong Town Council (JTC), Woh Hup, and ST Engineering.
“Ailytics solutions have shown impressive results in reducing accidents and downtime and boosting productivity. Their solutions have been deployed across many key HDB and JTC projects and large general contractors who have selected Ailytics after an extensive review of other alternatives. We are pleased to partner its team in deepening their offerings within their verticals and expanding further across the region,” Co-Founder of Tin Men Capital, Jeremy Tan, said.
