Heaptalk, Jakarta — Porsche Indonesia, the prominent automobile manufacturer, has officially released the new Porsche 911 GT3, the seventh generation of the iconic high-performance sports car, on Friday at Porsche Centre Jakarta. The launch of the Porsche’s latest sports car aimed to provide motorsport expertise for its consumers.

Exhibiting the new model in the launching event, the Managing Director of Porsche Indonesia, Michael Vetter, stated, “The new GT3 features everything that sports car enthusiasts dream of, with the new swan-neck rear wing, carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) front bonnet with integrated air outlets inspired by motorsport, four-liter six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, and new Track Screen, are just some of the exciting features on this new high-performance sports car,”

The new car model delivers genuine race technology into more consistent production, including a double-wishbone in the front axle layout, advanced aerodynamics with swan neck hind wings, and a flashy diffuser from a successful 911 RSR GT race car. A four-liter boxer machine with a 375 kW (510 PS) cylinder is based on the 911 GT3 R drivetrain tested in endurance racing.

The distinctive strength of the 911 GT3 lies in the sum of its characteristics. With a top speed of 320 km/h (318 km/h with PDK), this car model is even faster than the previous 911 GT3 RS, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,4 seconds.

Porsche Indonesia is pleased to offer purchasers the ability to conveniently configure their dream Porsche sports cars online or visit an official Porsche Dealer in Indonesia. After choosing one of Porsche’s six model lines, consumers can configure their preferred car based on their desire.

This configuration includes colors and wheels, interior colors and sears, and individual equipment, including audio and communication options. Consumers can secure their car configuration to be accessed in the future and create Porsche code to load their design for further modifications or processing at Porsche Centre in Jakarta and Surabaya regions.

Despite its wider body, bigger wheels, and additional technical feature, the GT3 height is equal to the preceding models, with a manual gearbox of 1,418 kg and PDK of 1,435 kg. The lightweight sports exhaust system reduces the weight by 10 kg. With infinitely electrically adjustable exhaust flaps, it harmonizes a highly sound experience with the Euro 6d ISC FCM (EU6 AP) emissions standard.

Customers are increasingly demand customized equipment, particularly for the Porsche GT models. For this reason, the Porsche Exclusive Manufacture range is available for the new 911 GT3 equipped with GT3-specific options like a lightweight roof made of exposed carbon fiber. Other highlighted specifications include exterior mirror tops made of carbon, darkened LED matrix main headlights, and matching Exclusive design rear lights with an arc of light with no red components.

Porsche’s 911 GT3 is an individual chronograph offered by Porsche’s Design exclusively to the users of high-performed sports cars. This automotive brand provides a dynamic design, consistent performance, and high-quality treatment with its motorized model. With speed up to 320 km/h using PDK, more quickly than the previous 911 GT3 RS, with the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h only in 3,4 seconds.

“With the Porsche Finder and the Porsche Car Configurator, ordering and configuring a customer’s Dream Porsche in Indonesia has never been easier. Porsche Indonesia now offers purchasers and future owners a convenient way to design their dream car. All Porsche enthusiasts can be creative with colors and optional items. Consumer satisfaction of having a vehicle that reflects their personalities available more optimally in Indonesia,” said Michael in his closing statement (4/1).
