Heaptalk, Jakarta — The home appliances producer MODENA has officially announced a partnership with PT PLN Persero to organize the Electrifying Lifestyle campaign. This campaign introduces the use of induction cooktops initiates a movement to encourage people to adopt a new lifestyle by optimizing the use of emission-free electrical equipment in their daily lives. This campaign is also intended to raise public awareness about the use of environmentally friendly energy so that we may all rescue the planet together.

“It has become MODENA’s pledge to always be able to contribute to the fight for the earth’s rescue. Of course, we are delighted to be able to support the government’s electrifying lifestyle initiative in an effort to reduce carbon emissions through our relationship with PT PLN (Persero).” Bagus Prastowo, Director of MODENA, stated during the official press conference (31/1).

When people go about their daily lives, they use electric appliances a lot. For example, cooking is one of the simplest things you can do with an electric stove (induction cooker). Observers say that the upper-middle class is becoming more and more dependent on induction cooker usage. This is also in line with what PLN wants to do in Indonesia in 2021, as they have set a target of getting 1 million induction cooktops in use in Indonesia.

“There are a lot of good reasons to switch from gas stoves to induction cooktop right away. They’re also environmentally friendly, safe, comfortable, practical, and efficient,” said Bagus.

Induction cooktops is beneficial for saving energy

Induction cooktops provide a lot of advantages; they are much safer than gas stoves, also reducing the risk of burns and gas leaks. Furthermore, the cooking process becomes faster because the speed can reach 25%–50% faster than when using gas.

Induction cooktops are also less difficult to clean than gas stoves. Because the surface of the induction cooker is smooth and slippery, any oil or other spills can be cleaned immediately by wiping them with a damp cloth or sponge. Furthermore, temperature regulation is simplified and can be monitored.

The most important aspect is that it is eco-friendly. Natural gas is a nonrenewable source of energy. It can help save fossil fuels by using electricity that can be generated continuously from various sources.

MODENA Campaign: redeemed voucher of Rp. 150,000

Customers who purchase a MODENA induction cooker will receive a voucher for a flat electricity rate of Rp. 150,000, up to the end of March 2022. This program includes every purchase of induction cooker products: PI 0310 W, PI 2316, BC 1721 L, BK 1725 C, BI 1625 F, and several others, where they can be purchased from showrooms, outlets, websites, e-commerce, and the nearest dealer.

Vouchers will be obtained directly by downloading and registering personal data via the CIAO MODENA application, and they will be redeemed via the PLN Mobile application.

“We are grateful for MODENA’s support of this national electrifying lifestyle program.” Of course, changing people’s lifestyles and protecting the environment is not an easy task and is not solely the responsibility of the government; support from the private sector, NGOs, the community, and the wider community is also required. We hope that through this collaboration, more and more Indonesians will be educated on the benefits of using electrical products and will immediately switch to electrical products. “Concluded Mohammad Munief Budiman’s appointment as PT PLN’s Executive Vice President of Retail Customer Service (Persero).

Review of MODENA induction cooktops

All MODENA induction cooktops are coated with a premium black crystal glass for superior aesthetics and are easy to clean and withstand weight. Customers can also use the touch control panel to easily adjust the temperature or cooking program. In addition, with the purchase of a MODENA portable induction cooker, customers will receive a free special induction cooker.

The product prices start at Rp. 1,150,000 for one portable induction furnace.
