Milestones and Strategic Partnerships
In its journey as an AI-focused technology company, Indosat has achieved several milestones, including becoming the first operator in Southeast Asia to commercially implement AI-RAN technology. This innovation enhances the efficiency of 5G Cloud RAN networks and significantly reduces energy consumption.
The implementation was made possible through strategic partnerships with Nokia and NVIDIA, announced at the 2025 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Indosat is also actively exploring the use of AI across various industrial sectors, notably through the “Indonesia AI Day for Mining Industry.” The mining sector is seen as one with significant potential for productivity and efficiency gains through artificial intelligence adoption.
