Heaptalk, Jakarta — Koltiva, Indonesia’s agritech startup, ties with Huy Anh Natural Rubber to assist Vietnam’s rubber company in complying with the EU Deforestation Regulation, which mandates zero deforestation in the production of a variety of commodities bought or sold in the European Union (EU).
Koltiva will ensure that Huy Anh’s products meet stringent international standards and enable the company to continue serving the global market with compliance and sustainability as top priorities. Furthermore, the KotiTrace MIS platform is crucial to the partnership, enabling traceable transaction data from plantation to processor and providing tools for deforestation and legality verification using updated satellite data.
As is known, Vietnam is the third-largest rubber exporter worldwide, providing about 8.7% of the global rubber output as of 2023. the country’s rubber industry, vital for products ranging from automobile parts to medical equipment, aims to continue its access to the lucrative EU market by adhering to the EUDR requirements.

In September 2024, Huy Anh will provide rubber products that adhere to the EUDR, ensuring EU customers receive products that meet the highest environmental standards. The company is also poised to expand its global market reach, specifically in regions where environmental standards are increasingly prioritized.
