Heaptalk, Jakarta – Indonesia’s young talented singer, TB Aji returns with his new single, ‘Simpan Hati’, last Thursday (11/10). This new single comes on the heel of the release of his remastered single, “Tukar Rasa,” last month.
Aji launched his second single shortly after releasing his first single, as the lyrics between these two singles are connected to each other. His first single is about a broken heart, and aligned with this story, Aji feels that one month is quite enough to move on, thus he decides to continue to the next single.
Aji stated, “Tukar Rasa song even brings up my emotion while singing this song. Meanwhile, Simpan Hati is about falling in love with someone but being afraid to express the feeling. We could say (the song tells about) fear of one-sided love.”
Aji also conveyed that the song production is quick as the material is easy listening and easy to be sung. “Alhamdulillah, we don’t face any challenges in producing this song. We are elated to work together with the reliable arranger and composer, ‘JEDI’, Dinno Taruprajoko, and Jeffrey Stefanus,” said TB Aji in his closing statement.
Executive Producer of Dumeca Records, Ferry Ardiansyah, delivered that ‘Simpan Hati’ is an appropriate song to accompany people who feel sentimental. In terms of the music video, Dumeca Pictures intentionally chose Bali to create the music video to expose the island’s exotic natural resources that will be the magnet for this song. In his view, the island of gods truly represents the ambiance of the song.
“In addition, we also intend to revive the tourism sector in the post-pandemic,” affirmed Ardiansyah, who also serves as the video director of the ‘Simpan Hati’ song.
