Heaptalk, Jakarta — A giant technology firm, Google, announced to support Indonesia’s startup who use AI by delivering cloud cost incentives of USD350,000. This incentive will be channeled to selected startup in the form of credit that valid for two years.
“By delivering Google Cloud credit of USD350,000, startup can enjoy the entire Google Cloud’s premium features for free,” stated Regional Director of Google Cloud for Indonesia and Malaysia Megawaty Khie as cited in Antara (06/09).
Megawaty also mentioned that this assistance is expected to support startup in developing products and solutions for society. To obtain this benefit, startups should meet several requirements, including:
- Running the business for at least 10 years
- Achieve Seed to Series A funding round. For Series A round, the funding should be obtained in the last 12 months. Or common sources of Web3 funding.
- Using AI as the main technology to develop their main products or solutions
- Has never been obtained over US$4,000 credit from Google Cloud.
- Eligibility based on Google Cloud’s policy
This fund will be distributed in two stages, including:
- First stage, Google will provide Google Cloud credit of US$250,000, this includes credit for additional standard program of US$150,000 for AI startup program.
- In the second year, startup will obtain Google Cloud credit of US$100,000.
Joining this program, startups will have several benefits, spanning
- Google Cloud credit of up to US$2,000 which valid for two years
- Google Cloud credit to Customers Service package for unlimited access to technical support.
- Free Google Workspace Business Plus for 12 months for new registration.
- Webinar and direct discussion with product manager, engineer, and Google Cloud AI developer advocate.
Megawaty also added that the program does not limit the maximum participants and timeframe, thus every startup who meets the requirements can enjoy the benefits.
