Heaptalk, Jakarta — The presence of Gesits, the distributor of the nation’s electric motorcycle manufacture, on IIMS 2022 provides a new color to the exhibition. The uniqueness can be seen immediately as the Company is the only motorcycle brand that adopts the electric concept.

As the local company that implements a new innovation, Gesits showcases its eco-friendly technology that omits noise pollution and carbon dioxide. The point, further, has attracted visitors’ attention as the product greatly contrasts with other brands performed in the exhibition.

“The event is interesting as we are surrounded by other conventional motorcycles brands, but with our competence, we believe that we can provide test driving in the area. Since our product is the only motorcycle that does not generate noise and sound pollution, it succeeds in attracting visitors automatically,” stated the CEO of PT Gesits Bali Pratama, Sari Suryanti.

Sari later mentioned that she is optimistic about the business sales as the product contains multiples excellences, such as three years battery guarantee and also high-quality spare parts. In addition, Gesits provides three color options, including red, black, and white, while the customers also can customize the unit’s color.

Perceiving from its battery, Gesits has provided Battery Swapping Station (BSS) as the result of the Company’s cooperation with Pertamina. Moreover, the cooperation between Gesits and PLN, the state electricity company, allows the customer to find Public Charging Station (SPKLU) in multiple predefined locations.

“BSS that is employed by Gojek has been inaugurated by Indonesia’s President, Joko ‘Jokowi’ Dodo, Pertamina, and WIKA Industry Manufacture (WIMA), a company that manufactures Gesits. Meanwhile, we also adopt the ducking battery that was initiated by PLN Surabaya,” Sari said in a statement.

Moreover, as Gesits adopts a home service, the Entity assists clients to stay at home or their location without going to the service center when product damage happens. To support this feature, the Company has embedded GPRS to the entire of its products which allows them to track the unit location for picking up the unit. Video call consultation also is added to facilitate the customers with product information and consultation.

Regarding the sales strategy, Gesits implements several tactics during IIMS 2022, such as a cashback value of 1,5 million rupiahs and the trade-in program – old conventional motorcycles can be switched as the down payment. The programs applied makes Gesits set its target sales of 200 units during the events.

“Gesits has cooperated with Adira, and the financing company also ties with Danamon. Adira provides a trade-in program, thus the old conventional motorcycle can be marketed as a Down Payment to get Gesits’ product. Our target is profoundly representative, namely 200 units,” conveyed Sari. (WLN)
