Head of Diskominfo Ery voiced that East Kutai has conducted multiple efforts, such as providing a dashboard and integrating application.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — Head of the Office of Communication and Informatics, Encryption and Statistics (Diskominfo Staper) for East Kutai Regency, Ery Mulyadi, explained several of the regency’s progress towards the implementation of information technology on the performance of public services in East Kutai.
According to Ery, he voiced that the local government has conducted multiple efforts, such as providing a dashboard channel devoted to the regional leader to access the needed data and integrating application.
Regarding the integration move, Ery admitted the local government had integrated several applications, such as employment applications, namely Simaku, which is integrated with Senti applications. Furthermore, he also claimed that East Kutai Regency has also provided an e-letter that has been integrated with electronic certification that BSSN issued, namely an electronic signature.
During the visit to Jakarta Smart City, Ery noticed this region has implemented multiple complaint channels of about 13 channels. Nevertheless, he claimed the East Kutai continues to focusing on the one channel, SP4N Lapor, and providing a 112 call center since the last two years to be utilized by society.
“We have executed plenty of strategic efforts while continuing to make improvements and improvements to compete with other regions. In addition, one of the proofs of our achievements this year is seizing the SPBE award from the Ministry of PANRB. From the of the 44 regions that received the award, East Kutai is one of them. That means we have made efforts to improve.” Ery added.
Further, he explained this improvement endeavor was marked by an increase in the SPBE index to 2.79, compared to the previous output which was only 1.03. Ery claimed this output is an indicator of progress from East Kutai Regency, particulalry in administering electronic-based government.
To continue strengthening the smart city implementation, the East Kutai Regency will integrate other applications as one of the region’s strategic programs. On the other hand, Ery also affirmed that his party would periodically focus on advancing the technology infrastructure, including the firewall system.
“Apart from infrastructure, Human Resources is also important because IT is very dynamic. We need competent Human Resources to compensate. For this reason, we have performed this move gradually this year,” Ery said, during visit to Jakarta Smart City.
As an information, this visitation is a part of Training and Certification of Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO) Head of Regional Apparatus, East Kalimantan Provincial Government in collaboration with Inixindo Bandung activity, held in Mercure Hotel, Jakarta, to discuss the digital technology adoption in boosting the services for society.
