Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Bank BTPN Tbk officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with investment manager Syailendra Capital to offer five mutual fund products through the digital banking platform Jenius.
“We select investment products available on our platform for our clients. Syailendra Capital can meet our client’s investment needs, given its track record of over 17 years, consistent product performance that exceeds benchmarks, and relevant product variations,” Vice President Director of BTPN, Darmadi Sutanto, said.
The provision of Syailendra Capital’s mutual funds product, including:
- Syailendra Cash Fund is in the Money Market Mutual Fund (RDPU) category. The product is devoted to investors with a conservative risk profile due to the nature of the product, which has minimal volatility. This mutual fund is suitable for short-term investments targeted for a maximum of a year.
- Syailendra Premium Fixed Income (SPTP), as a Fixed Income Mutual Funds (RDPT) category, focuses on allocating 80%—100% of funds to Government and Corporate Debt Securities (Bonds). As of June 28, 2024, 63% of funds were placed in Corporate Bonds. This product is ideal for medium—to long-term investments.
- The Syailendra Fixed Income Fund (SFIF) is a Fixed-Income Mutual Fund (RDPT) category that focuses on allocating 80%—100% of funds to Government Securities (SUN), Sukuk, and Corporate Bonds. As of June 28, 2024, 94.5% of the portfolio was focused on government bonds.
- Syailendra MSCI Value Index Fund (SMSCI) Class A is a category of index mutual funds that refers to the MSCI index and contains undervalued (cheap) stocks that have the potential to provide optimal long-term performance. As of June 28, 2024, 56% of funds were allocated to the banking sector (big banks).
- Syailendra Equity Opportunity Fund (SEOF) Class A is a category of stock mutual funds managed with a concentration strategy to obtain returns exceeding the IHSG.
Users can also easily monitor portfolio performance by accessing the Wealth page in the Jenius application. On the other hand, critical information such as total investment owned and return information in Rupiah, along with its percentage value (Total Investment Return), can be monitored directly in the application. Users can invest their initial capital in mutual funds starting from Rp10,000.
