Heaptalk, Jakarta — DesktopIP showcased its flagship product, Mocaas, at the 13th Business Matching event, to expedite the creative industry’s digitalization in the archipelago,

In an interview(06/11), Tresna Apriansyah, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mocaas TV explained that Mocaas TV stands for motion creativity as a service and functions as a platform that enables content creators and business owners to build their video-on-demand platform.

“In essence, anyone can instantly develop their own ‘Netflix’ and communication channel with various business models, from subscription and rental to content payment. Users can adjust prices according to their requirements or even share their business. With an affordable price of US$30.81 (around Rp. 500,000), all content creators can develop their platform quickly. ” Tresna said.

Targeting Indonesian content creators and business owners who desire to shift from the mainstream platform into premium content, Mocaas has expanded into three primary services this year as follows:

  1. Mocass TV: platform builder to launch a video streaming platform instantly without the demand for technical skill.
  2. Mocaas Enterprises Solution: integration solution with Mocaas Streaming Engine to create diversified streaming platforms from multiple industries ranging from films and music to e-course platforms.
  3. Mocaas Entertainment offers solutions for various creative content needs, from studio facilities provision and creative spaces to shooting, editing, and production management.

According to Tresna, Mocaas’ users can obtain numerous advantages of using this video platform. Users can create and possess exhaustive control over their own video streaming platform, consisting of:

  • Control over brand: Creators can define their brand identity, from domain to platform customization.
  • Control over audience: Content creators will fully own overall audience data, including names and email addresses, as the registration and payment process will be directly on the creator’s platform.
  • Control over a business model: Indonesian content creators can choose their business model, from subscriptions like Netflix to one-time payments like Udemy to content rentals. This video-on-demand platform offers about 15%—0% discounts.

“With their platform, all the revenue will go to them. Also, Mocaas does not impose any minimum requirement or conditions for content monetization.” Tresna in his closing statement.
