Heaptalk, Jakarta — A crowdfunding securities startup, Bizhare, announced its undisclosed new investment led by Kejora Capital and SBI Holdings through the SBI-Kejora Orbit Fund. Telkomsel Mitra Inovasi and AngelCentral also involve as the existing investors.
Prior to this additional fund, the company had secured its Pre-Series A round at US$20,000 from AngelCentral as of May 2021. With this fresh capital, Bizhare will tackle the capital injection to broaden its service, advance the technology system, and provide more business investment opportunities dedicated to its users.
Through the support from these strategic investors, the Founder and CEO of Bizhare, Heinrich Vincent, delivered, “This funding contribution will strengthen the company as a business investment platform that provides transparent and safe investment access to help people become financially free.”
Established in 2018, Bizhare granted investment and funding access inclusively for society from diverse realms through the crowdfunding service cooperatively. Numerous investment preferences are available, spanning franchise MSMEs to startup business investments with reasonable capital.
This startup has funded multiple businesses, including Holycow, Bam Cargo, Sour Sally, Ubeatz, Pempek Farina, and Shuka Grill. Bizhare also invested in several projects, such as film funding and sukuk projects from private corporate vendors, local governments, and ministerial tenders. As a result, the crowdfunding security startup has channeled the fund of over US$12.8 million (around Rp200 billion) to about 130 Indonesian MSMEs, together with 200,000 investors incorporated in its platform.
Leading this investment round, the Regional Partner or Advisor of Kejora Capital, who also served as the Director of SBI-Kejora Orbit Fund, Shunichi Keida, perceived that Bizhare is at the forefront of bringing together around US$80 billion of liquid capital from retail investors and high-net-worth individuals in Indonesia to support MSMEs and take them to the next level of business.
For this reason, the startup continues to expand the investor segment to institutional investors by launching the Bizhare institutional feature, which targets private companies, family offices, cooperatives, venture capital, foundations, and financial entities in diversifying investment portfolios into various types of industries and issuer securities with high returns.
