Heaptalk, Jakarta — ASEPHI conducted its 9th National Conference (MUNAS) over a three-day on July 22nd – 24th, 2024, at Hotel JS Luwansa.
“The ASEPHI National Conference is conducted periodically every five years as a way for the organization’s leadership to account for their stewardship, evaluate, and elect new management,” ASEPHI explained.
As a result of the meeting, Muchsin Ridjan was re-elected as Chairman of ASEPHI for the 2024-2029 period. He will be accompanied by its Secretary General MN Azis Bakhtiar, General Treasurer Syamsul Huda, Vice Chairman 1 Ir. Hatman, and Vice Chairwoman 2 Hj. Baby Jurmawati Djuri; and Vice Chairman 3, Muchamad Ali Jufry.
On this occasion, ASEPHI also outlined the management program for the 2024-2029 period:
- Organization: The rapid pace of change requires ASEPHI to adapt and continuously improve internally and externally. The current leadership will pursue a path to transform the association into a more adaptive and informative organization.
- Collaboration: Collaboration is a critical factor in a dynamic and competitive environment. Therefore, the association will make it one of the pillars of its program.
- Digitalization: Many aspects of life now utilize digital technology to enhance efficiency and productivity, including communication and organization. Various forms of digitalization, from communication apps to marketplaces, have become integral to daily life in Indonesia.
- Exports: In the upcoming management period, the association will also focus on serving as a platform for exporters. Members who previously focused only on the domestic market will be guided and directed to enter the international market.
- Innovation ASEPHI, an organization attentive to the times, has made innovation one of the foundational programs for this leadership period. This effort began with forming Talam INACRAFT as part of the INACRAFT Exhibition. ASEPHI is also in the process of including musical instruments as part of Indonesia’s traditional crafts.
