Heaptalk, Jakarta — An early-stage ventures capital firm, Antler, announced to inject its latest investment of up to US$1.25 million, equals to Rp19.4 billion into ten early-stage startups in Indonesia. Based on the ventures capital’s official statement, this investment covers an investment round from the total allocation in Indonesia worth US$5 million that has been channeled to 40 startups.
This additional funding is one of the investment company’s strategic moves in expanding its portfolio in the Indonesian market by supporting founders in discovering business potential from multiple sectors. Meanwhile, Indonesian startups that were successfully injected include:
- Club Kyta, integrated omnichannel distribution solution for D2C lifestyle brands
- Alter, a Social networking and collaboration platform for gamers
- Hazana, embedded halal financing solution for platforms, marketplaces, and ecosystems
- Kamoo, an end-to-end dairy value chain platform
- Plans, digital fertility assistance platform for family planning
- Loop, a diabetes management mobile application
- Sqouts, a conversational AI-based talent acquisition platform
- Safelog.AI, an employee background screening platform
- Katalis, end-to-end AI marketing toolbox for e-commerce
- Indonesia’s startups with the stealth mode

Founded in 2018, this venture capital has invested in over 900 startups. The firm has also broadened its global network into 30 cities, including Indonesia, in 2021. Previously, Antler aimed to inject fresh funds at a minimum of 30 Indonesia’s startups this year.
With these additional investment portfolios, Antler has contained around 43 portfolios successfully injected in the country, compared to the former of only 33 portfolios. In June 2023, the company announced its Asset Under Management (AUM) of up to US$285 million (around Rp4.4 trillion), which will be injected into startups in the Series A to Series C rounds.
