Heaptalk, Jakarta — UOB Indonesia has unveiled a refreshed Lady’s Card design packed with unique features, innovations, and rewards tailored to modern women’s needs and preferences (05/17).

The UOB Lady’s Card provides benefits and privileges tailored to women’s lifestyles, including exclusive access to events, talk shows, or upskilling classes. According to UOB Indonesia Lady’s Card spend data from 2020 to 2023, the Bank saw a 100% surge in dining, while shopping transactions have returned to the pre-pandemic level.

The renewal of this card exhibits the company’s journey in empowering modern and affluent women across the region to achieve their goals and aspirational lifestyle. This refreshment also coincides with celebrating UOB Lady’s Card’s 35th anniversary in Singapore, Southeast Asia’s first-ever women-centric credit card.

The new face of the UOB Lady’s Card was designed by the winner of the 2017 UOB Painting of the Year (Singapore), Sunny Chyun. The refreshed design, featuring a pixelated rose with a blend of shapes, lines, and colors, symbolizes the intricate and diverse perceptions and roles in a woman’s mind.

Introducing new tagline of Unstoppable Together

Women play a crucial role in Southeast Asia’s economy. In Indonesia, women-led businesses have enormous economic potential, with total opportunities reaching US$470 billion. Recognizing this, UOB Lady’s Card has also renewed its tagline to ‘Unstoppable Together’, reflecting the unlimited possibilities and opportunities women can achieve through collaboration and support within the ecosystem for women’s different roles.

Consumer Banking Director at UOB Indonesia Cristina Teh Tan said, “We recognize the pivotal role that Indonesian women play in driving economic growth and shaping our society. Throughout 2019 to 2023, the UOB Lady’s cardholder base surged by 95%, testifying to the long-term relevance of our offering for women’s varied lifestyle needs. As we celebrate 35 years since the introduction of the UOB Lady’s Card in Singapore, we reaffirm our commitment to championing the progress and success of women everywhere as we become Unstoppable Together.”

Launched in 2010, Cristina explained that the UOB Indonesia Lady’s Card focuses on offering health and beauty benefits to lady customers. The card allows cardmembers to earn triple reward points in categories that align with their lifestyle priorities, including fashion, department stores, grocery stores, and e-commerce. To cater to their specific needs and preferences, the card provides Lady’s Day promotions every Wednesday of up to 50% on selected beauty categories.
