Heaptalk, Jakarta — In an attempt to increase Indonesia’s investment literacy, PT Stockbit Sekuritas Digital (Stockbit), together with edutech company PT Mega Harapan Mulia (Kelas.com), built a Digital Investment Gallery.
This gallery will provide education about the stock market and easy access to obtain more information and data, as well as facilitate transactions in the stock market directly.
IDX Director of Development Jeffrey Hendrik, who opened the agenda on Wednesday at the IDX Office, delivered his appreciation to Stockbit and Kelas.com, who presented this innovation. He perceived that the presence of Digital Investment Galler is aligned with IDX’s goal to enhance society’s participation in the stock market amidst the enhancement of people’s awareness in the investment world.
“In the last five years, the number of companies who are listed in IDX grew from around 500 companies to 900 companies. The total number of investors also flourished from two million to 12.3 million people. The keyword of this significant growth is synergy. The launch of Digital Investment Gallery today is a form of synergy that is important,” stated Jeffrey.
Regarding this agenda, Stockbit’s President Director Megawati Andrew Soewardi conveyed that this investment gallery is special because it is the company’s first education centre. The strategic cooperation with Kelas.com is considered as the perfect collaboration by combining investment skills and digital education to deliver meaningful content to society. He delivered that this gallery can provide a guide to society about investing in the stock market and how to avoid fraudulent investments.
Aligning with Megawati’s statement, CEO of Kelas.com William Sutrisna conveyed, “The inauguration of this gallery marked our commitment to continue to enhance Indonesia’s finance literacy and drive them to perform more effective and wise investment.”
