Operating for seven years, Wulling dominates 52% of Indonesian EV market

Heaptalk, Jakarta – One of the largest electric vehicle (EV) players in Indonesia, Wulling, announced to has dominated Indonesia’s EVs segment of 52%.

Arif Pramadana, Vice President of Wulling Motors during the press conference at the 2024 GIIAS stated, “In our 7th anniversary, Wulling has proven its presence as a mature and competent automotive producer that is supported by downstream and upstream sectors.”

He added, “Wulling managed to solidify its position by recording a sales number of 20,000 units in Indonesia. Through this number, Wulling dominates Indonesia’s EV market share of 52% from January to June 2024, and this achievement brings Wulling to be the number 1 EV brand in Indonesia”.

Moreover, Arif conveyed that Wulling managed to distribute over 146,000 units and absorb about 10,000 workforces from various fields. The EV producer has also launched seven product lines from three segments, including EV, hybrid, and ice, which are fully manufactured in Cikarang, Indonesia. To distribute its product, Wulling is supported by 150 dealers across Indonesia.

During the press conference, Arif also said that Wulling has import 5,500 vehicles to 24 countries while one-third among them are EVs. Interestingly, the vehicle manufacturer also becomes the only exporter who is able to distribute completely built up (CBU) EV worldwide.

“Wulling is the only exporter who distributes CBU EV abroad, demonstrating that Indonesian product has high global competitiveness,” voiced Arif.

Participating in the 2024 GIIAS, Wulling also launched a special edition of BinguoEV, limited to only 1,000 units.
