Heaptalk, Jakarta — Since being marketed in the country, the Pajero Sport has received numerous awards and positive recognition. Updates and improvements aligned with trends have made the Pajero Sport a favorite family car for advertising, with the latest improvement featured in the New Pajero Sport 2024.
“The new slogan ‘Live the Adventure’ is embodied in the latest New Pajero Sport 2024 look. A hexagonal front grille and a new bumper on the exterior provide a bolder and more characterful appearance. These changes meet the needs of many people who desire a macho-looking SUV,” Mitsubishi said
Interestingly, the new 18-inch directional alloy wheel design with a polished finish contributes to a modern impression without losing its rugged aura. There are also six variants and four favorite body colors, including Quartz White Pearl, Blade Silver Metallic, Graphite Gray Metallic, and Jet Black Mica.
Meanwhile, the interior blends black and burgundy colors for a sporty, premium look. The New Pajero Sport also offers a new driving experience with a new multi-functional steering wheel design and an 8-inch digital driver display. The nanoe X feature integrated into the Dual Zone AC enhances comfort for both the driver and passengers.
The New Pajero Sport’s price ranges from Rp650.7 million to Rp764.2 million, depending on the variant purchased.
In addition to the Pajero Sport 2024, Mitsubishi launched the All New Triton. The All New Triton is Mitsubishi Indonesia’s flagship double-cabin pickup model for the 4×4 commercial vehicle class. It was first introduced to the Indonesian market in 2002 and is in its third generation globally. The Triton model has been a market leader in Indonesia’s small 4×4 pickup class for 22 years.
“With the development of trends and technology, the All-New Triton has undergone many improvements compared to its predecessors. This is especially true with the development of the ladder frame, which makes the cross-section of the chassis 65% larger. This makes the All New Triton stronger, more robust, and rigid,” said Mitsubishi.
With the slogan “Turn ON the Beast Mode,” the All New Triton gets a more rigid look without leaving behind the distinctive Mitsubishi Motors “Dynamic Shield” design with T-shaped lights and a prominent grille. The rear is adorned with large stop lamps and a sturdy body design. This aligns with the global trend of pickups leaning towards a rugged appearance.
Interestingly, the rigid body of the All-New Triton is also accompanied by the replacement of a new 2.4L turbo diesel engine coded 4N16 Euro 4. This engine is more powerful and efficient, with a maximum power of 184 PS/135kW and torque of 430 Nm. The 4N16 engine has updated turbo settings and combustion systems, resulting in greater power output than the previous 4N15 MIVEC engine.
As a work vehicle, the All-New Triton has 4×4 capabilities for driving on various terrains, with a ground clearance of up to 222mm. Different new features are also embedded differently in each variant to provide a more satisfying driving experience tailored to needs. These include leather seats with stitching details, an 8-inch Audio Head Unit, 7 Drive Modes, Dual Zone Climate Control, a Wireless Charger, and a 7-inch color LCD multi-information display.
