Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia (Mercedes-Benz) announced that it had delivered 16 electric vehicles to the Presidential Secretariat Office (KSP).

According to PT Inchcape, the handover of these 16 electric vehicles to KSP supports the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. “This significant contribution to this historic event underscores Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to sustainable mobility and supports the Indonesian government’s goal to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia,” explained Khoo Shao Tze, President Director of Inchcape Automotive Indonesia.

Khoo Shao Tze also mentioned that three Mercedes-Benz EQ models will be used in the upcoming Independence Day celebrations: the EQE Saloon, EQE SUV, and EQS Saloon. These vehicles represent Mercedes-Benz’s finest in terms of luxury, engineering innovation, and eco-friendly technology. Using these vehicles at the historic event in the new capital city (IKN) further solidifies Mercedes-Benz’s dedication to its global electrification strategy.
