Lamudi has partnered with more than 400 developers, over 10 banks, and 30 thousand agents spread throughout Indonesia.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — A technology company in the property sector (proptech), Lamudi officially announced Lamudi Partners (Rekan Lamudi) community at a press conference in Jakarta (03/14). This community aims to empower agent competence as the main pillar in the growth of the national property field.

The existence of this community is expected to drive multiple initiatives, including community empowerment, the introduction of the latest products, networking, training, and community involvement. Currently, the company has partnered with more than 400 developers, and more than 10 banks, and has a network of 30 thousand agents spread throughout Indonesia.

CEO of Lamudi Mart Polman stated that all the initiatives made by Lamudi Partners, including the Lamudi Agents Awards, are expected to play a role in scaling up the capabilities of agents as essential human resources for the national property sector.

Further, Mart said that currently, the property sector has entered the digital economy era as indicated by a large number of new property seekers, also known as next-generation property buyers, who have high technological literacy demanding convenience in searching for property. “This new era also requires agents to improve their digital literacy skills. Hence, they are able to conduct negotiations and financial education easily using technology,” said Mart.

In an effort to expand the company’s training range for agents outside the Jabodetabek area, the company has collaborated with Indonesia’s largest property agent association, the Indonesian Real Estate Brokers Association (AREBI) to reach all AREBI DPD throughout Indonesia in terms of training.

Mart expected that the community can become a collaboration center for all property sector stakeholders, spanning developers, banks, business associations, and the government, in preparing structured material to help upskilling agents. He said, “Lamudi.co.id hopes to enhance our partnership with new property agent offices and all property sector stakeholders who share the same vision to create a strong national property sector.”

Organizing Lamudi Agents Awards 2022

In addition to introducing the community, the company also held Lamudi Agents Awards (LAA) 2022 as a form of appreciation for agents who have contributed to helping millions of Indonesians find their dream homes.

AVP Broker Classifieds Cally Alexandra stated that agents play a big part as a liaison between developers, banks, and property seekers. She said, “Lamudi.co.id gives the greatest appreciation to our fellow agents as their success in closing has a multiplier effect on the growth of the banking sector, property sector, and other downstream property industries. The LAA 2022 event is Lamudi.co.id’s effort to provide support to agents to keep moving forward.”

As part of Lamudi Partners, LAA 2022 presents awards in 4 categories, including Fresh Listing, Optimal Listing, Top Spender Agent, and Top Spender Property Office. These awards are given to agents spread across Java and Bali. Apart from that, Lamudi.co.id expects to reach all Indonesian agents in similar award events in the future.

The LAA 2022 chose the theme “Agent Potential in Encouraging the Development of the National Property Industry” aligned with the great opportunities for the national property sector in the digital economy era. To take advantage of this opportunity, agents as human resources in the property sector must be equipped with sufficient capital, including in terms of technology or hardware and training that becomes brainwave, including the quality of human resources.

“In the hardware or technology aspect, Lamudi Partners is also a means for socializing the latest technology from Lamudi.co.id to reach more than 22 million property seekers on the two largest property search platforms in Indonesia, Lamudi.co.id and OLX Properti. All the innovations that we do at Lamudi.co.id are intended to facilitate our agents to reach a wide market. Therefore, we have adjusted all of our marketing packages based on the diverse agents’ needs,” concluded Cally.
