Heaptalk, Jakarta — Kidz Station, a toy and accessories store under PT Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP), unveiled a new concept store in Gandaria City, South Jakarta (10/25). This fresh concept offers an interactive shopping experience where customers can try out toys from various brands directly in-store, including assembling LEGO, shooting with Nerf, racing with Motor Battles, playing PlayStation, and engaging with Play-Doh.
The grand opening of this new concept store marks the peak celebration of Kidz Station’s 25th anniversary in Indonesia. On this occasion, the toy store also introduced its new identity, including a logo and a mascot named Kidso.
Miguel Simoes, Vice President of Merchandising for Kids at MAP Active, stated that the company aims to provide the best products for customers with a wide selection of toys from renowned brands such as LEGO, Nerf, Dickie Toys, Gundam, Ultraman, Discovery, Qman Keeppley, Play-Doh, Majorette, as well as a collection of TMNT x Transformers, and school accessories from Smiggle.
Supporting children’s development
“Kidz Station now brings innovation with a more interactive store concept designed to support children’s development through play. With various categories such as action figures, board games, blocks and bricks, as well as educational and collectible toys, we ensure every product is not only entertaining but also educational, in line with the needs of children’s growth and development,” said Miguel in South Jakarta (10/25).
In addition to the new concept store and identity, Kidz Station also held a candle-blowing ceremony at the Gandaria City Mall store, enlivened by various exciting events for families and children (09/28). The store also conducted a CSR program at Master School in Depok, West Java, providing street children with fun playing and learning experiences, and held a Meet & Greet event with Lego (10/04).
