Heaptalk, Jakarta — Jenius Online Travel Fair offers discount vouchers of up to Rp7 million, approximately US$447 to be used at Traveloka to purchase transportation tickets, accommodation, and activities during the holidays.

First held on October 11-17, 2023, Jenius Online Travel Fair carries the concept of a voucher war. Jenius users can obtain a discount by purchasing a voucher worth Rp7,007 at Loket.com using a Jenius Visa credit card and debit card.

There are more than 5,000 vouchers allocated up for grabs during the voucher war period. Furthermore, the voucher can be redeemed at Traveloka with the applicable terms and conditions, including the minimum transaction amount.

“Through questions and polls on social media @jeniusconnect, we found that traveling was the thing most frequently mentioned by Jenius friends. For this reason, this October, the 7 Days 7 Nights #bemorejenius program is even more exciting with the presence of the Jenius Online Travel Fair for the first time,” said Head of Digital Banking Business Stream at Bank BTPN Anita Ekasari in Jakarta (10/06).

This travel fair is part of the 7-day 7-night program commemorating Jenius’ 7th anniversary last August. This program was held again in September and October following the high enthusiasm from Jenius users. In August and September, this 7-day 7-night program offers food and drink promos at favorite restaurants, selected merchant promos, and selected features, while in October the program is packaged in an online travel fair.

Anita added, “Seeing the very positive enthusiasm for the program in the last two months, Jenius has looked again at the needs and aspirations of digital savvy.”

Introducing two new foreign currencies: Baht and Yuan

Indonesian actress who is also a Jenius user Melanie Putria said this travel fair is a new thing since usually the war concept is used to buy concert tickets, not discount vouchers for traveling.

“This new and exciting travel fair mechanism is one of the things that makes me interested in taking part. Not only that, I can buy accommodation tickets to a destination that I have long dreamed of for a holiday with my family while enjoying the flexibility in choosing accommodation according to my and my family’s preferences,” said Melanie.

In addition, Jenius also introduced two new foreign currencies, namely Thai Baht (THB) and Chinese Yuan (CNY) to facilitate transactions while traveling to Thailand and China. The launch allows users to sell, buy, and make international transactions through the app. Currently, there are a total of 9 foreign currencies provided by the digital banking app under Bank BTPN.
