Heaptalk, Jakarta – PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) announced the resignation of its Director and Chief Commercial Officer, Ritesh Kumar Singh, effective July 31, 2025. The resignation was formally submitted and acknowledged by the company on Monday (05/26).
In an official statement, the company said, “The company has received a resignation letter from Ritesh Kumar Singh from his position as Director, effective July 31, 2025.”
The resignation of Ritesh Kumar Singh is said to comply with capital market regulations, specifically referencing Indonesia Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No. 33/POJK.04/2014 regarding the Board of Directors and Commissioners of Public Companies.
During his tenure, Ritesh played a pivotal role in the successful transition and integration of the merged brands IM3 and 3 (Tri), which followed the merger of Indosat and Hutchison. According to Indosat’s management, his contributions significantly supported the company’s growth and commercial transformation.
For information, Ritesh has held the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison since 2022, and earlier served as CCO of Indosat Ooredoo from 2019. He was appointed as a Director of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison following the company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on May 15, 2023.
Before joining Indosat, Ritesh held a series of high-ranking roles in the telecommunications industry across Asia. He served as CCO at Veon Bangladesh (2017–2019), Executive Vice President and Circle CEO at Bharti Airtel Limited in India (2016–2017), and Head of Strategic Projects for the Asia Region (2014–2016). He also held a CXO-level role as Circle Business Head from 2012 to 2014.
Despite the resignation, Indosat emphasized that the company’s business fundamentals remain solid. “His resignation will not significantly impact operations, given the strong foundation already in place,” the company stated.
