At the initial business matchmaking of Hub.id Accelerator 2023, there were over 90 business partners from diverse industries, including health, agriculture, finance, and logistics.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — As part of the Hub.id Accelerator 2023 program series, Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemkominfo) conducted five sessions of business matchmaking activities. The agenda was conducted on August 15-16 and 29-31, 2023 in Jakarta.

This business matching activity brings together startups participating in the Hub.id Accelerator 2023 program to explore collaboration with potential business partners from numerous companies or institutions, spanning government, private corporations, SOEs and research/education institutions.

In the initial business matchmaking, there were over 90 business partners from diverse industry categories, including health, agriculture, finance, and logistics. Meanwhile, the 25 startups participating in the program are BroilerX, GENN, Broom.id, Peris.ai, TruClimate, PathGen, Gratisinvestasi, Belanjaparts, Mindtera, Bizhare, Bepahkupi, Cardlez, Habibi Garden, CARDS, Logice, Healthpro.id, Semaai, Soul Parking, REDY, MySkill, Nafas, PINTAR, Bioma, Gapai by Academix, and EBM Scitech.

The Hub.id Accelerator was held for the first time in 2021. The Director of Digital Economy at the Directorate General of Informatics Applications of Kemkominfo I Nyoman Adhiarna is optimistic that the program can provide opportunities for startups to expand and develop quality and networking amidst the challenges in the tech winter era. This program also creates startup business synergy which is in line with the Ministry’s commitment to developing the digital economic sector in Indonesia.

Hub.id Partner Day x Nex-BE Fest will be held in Bali

Apart from discussing opportunities for collaboration with business partners, startups also have the opportunity to introduce their businesses and products through pitching sessions. In another series of activities, namely business mentoring, startups will receive pitch training from Peter Browne who has educated more than 750 startup founders in the world.

Further, this activity will be followed with business matchmaking on a larger scale called Hub.id Partner Day x Next-BE Fest in Bali on September 13-14, 2023. There will be networking sessions in 5 cities in Indonesia, namely Medan, Samarinda, Makassar, Surabaya, and Semarang from September to November.

“The entire Hub.id Accelerator 2023 program that has been implemented to date is the beginning of strengthening synergy, cooperation, and development of digital startups that are more optimal and sustainable,” concluded Adhiarna.
