Heaptalk, Jakarta — At GIIAS 2024, GWM Indonesia introduced the Tank 300 HEV SUV. The Tank 300 HEV will hit the roads in Indonesia starting in Q4 this year with an on-the-road price of Rp833,888,000. This vehicle will be available in several colors for the Indonesian market, including pearl white, crystal black, fossil grey, and dusk orange.

The launch of the Tank 300 HEV is a tangible response to the positive feedback received for the previous SUV series. Continuing the outstanding success of its predecessor, GWM proudly introduces this 4×4 SUV for consumers to adventure luxuriously and intelligently. The Tank 300 HEV is designed for dynamic and youthful consumers while still considering sustainable mobility trends.”
This SUV stands out with its attractive design and is equipped with various superior features that set it apart. These features include efficient hybrid technology, advanced safety systems, and optimal driving comfort.
“This SUV has excellent off-road capabilities. Despite its eco-friendly appearance, the Tank 300 HEV proves its toughness in facing extreme road conditions. The GWM Tank 300 HEV uses a 2.0 Turbocharged direct-injection HEV engine paired with a 1.76 kWh battery, enabling this car to deliver a full performance of up to 342 HP with a maximum torque of 648 Nm,” explained Khoo Shao Tze, President Director of PT Inchcape Automotive Indonesia.
In more detail, equipped with a robust chassis, high ground clearance, and an intelligent four-wheel-drive system, this HEV can confidently conquer various obstacles. Advanced features such as front and rear axle differential locks, an 8-driving mode configuration and expert mode, and a 360-degree intelligent off-road driving camera make this possible.
In terms of exterior, this mid-sized SUV adopts a Stylish Hardcore Retro theme. Its comprehensive horizontal grille blends with modern Retro LED headlights. The vehicle also boasts advanced safety features, including an energy-absorbing collapsible steering column, a fuel shutoff system, and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
