Heaptalk, Jakarta — Gerakan Pemuda Ansor (GP Ansor) has officially launched BUMA, Badan Usaha Milik Ansor, which translates into Ansor-owned Enterprises, a holding company consolidating various strategic business units under one entity. The launch occurred on Wednesday (04/30) at the BUMA Building on Percetakan Negara Street, Central Jakarta.
BUMA oversees several companies operating in vital sectors: information technology (IT), labor services, tour and travel, retail and trade, media and event organizing (EO), mining, and export-import.
At the event, Minister of Investment and Downstream/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani said BUMA’s presence could be a positive catalyst for Indonesia’s economy and business climate. He sees this business holding for GP Ansor as similar to the role of Danantara for Indonesia. Based on this, he expressed hope for future collaboration between Danantara and BUMA.
Meanwhile, Addin Jauharudin, Chairman of GP Ansor’s Central Board (PP GP Ansor), stated that BUMA would integrate GP Ansor’s internal business capabilities through this holding structure. He emphasized that this approach would accelerate business growth and create more job opportunities for young members across Indonesia.
“Today, we prove that a youth organization doesn’t only stand for social and religious movements—it must also become an economic force. BUMA is Ansor’s strategic vehicle to foster collective prosperity and enhance our contribution to the nation,” Addin declared.
Firmana Tri Andika, CEO of BUMA, added that although the business entity was born from a youth organization, it was built on professionalism, accountability, and sustainable innovation. Each subsidiary is expected to adhere to modern management standards and be globally market-oriented while still rooted in Ansor’s values—social justice, nationalism, and people-centeredness.
He also emphasized that establishing the enterprise opens opportunities for strategic partnerships with private companies, state-owned enterprises, and global communities, all in the spirit of collaboration for shared growth. “BUMA manifests Ansor’s spirit of independence, empowerment, and impactfulness. We invite all parties to join us in building an inclusive and fair economy,” Firmana concluded.
