Heaptalk, Jakarta — Geely Auto announced the selling price of the Geely EX5 at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, with the official price starting at Rp475 million. This premium electric SUV marks a significant step for the manufacturer in presenting EV technology that prioritizes efficiency, safety, and driving comfort for the Indonesian community.

Victor Gao, CEO of Geely Auto Indonesia, stated that the presence of the EX5 is a long-term commitment from Geely to support the transition of Indonesia’s automotive industry towards environmentally friendly vehicles. “Indonesia is one of the fastest-growing automotive markets, especially in adopting electric vehicles. Geely sees great potential in contributing to this transition by introducing the Geely EX5, an electric-powered SUV that combines innovative technology, superior performance, and the best comfort and safety in its class,” he said.

Victor Gao also mentioned two variants of the EX5 launched in Indonesia: the EX5 Pro priced at Rp475 million on-the-road Jakarta Greater Area and the EX5 Max priced at Rp515 million on-the-road Jakarta Greater Area. He added, “Consumers who make purchases at the IIMS 2025 event will get a special price of Rp465 million for the Geely EX5 Pro and Rp505 million for the Geely EX5 Max, along with various additional benefits at no extra cost.”

Designed to meet the needs of urban and suburban communities, this EV features Short Blade battery technology that can charge from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. The battery is highly durable, with over 3,500 charging cycles, allowing for usage of over 1,000,000 km. The multi-layered safety system applied to this battery has been designed with fire-resistant and explosion-proof technology to ensure maximum user protection.

Regarding safety, the Geely EX5 is equipped with L2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology, providing a safer and more comfortable driving experience. This SUV’s GEA body structure is designed with high-strength materials to ensure maximum protection during a collision, ensuring maximum safety for drivers and passengers. Geely also equips this premium electric-powered SUV with six airbags as a standard feature, ensuring the safety of all passengers.
