Frank & co. adopts sustainable gold in its latest collection

Heaptalk, Jakarta — A luxury jewelry brand, Frank & co., rolled out a breakthrough at the end of 2024. At this moment, the Central Mega Kencana (CMK) backed jewelry brand launched a new collection and fashion film named “See the Light”.

Presenting this innovation, Frank & co. collaborated with two Indonesia’s inspiring figures, Kamila Andini and Maudy Ayunda. In this collection, a well-known Indonesian celebrity, Maudy Ayunda, was appointed as the brand ambassador and creative director of See the Light. Meanwhile, the luxury jewelry brand also appointed Kamila Andini as the film director.

“Frank & co. proudly presents See the Light, a collection that conveys empowerment and the courage to find the power inside us. This collection is not solely jewelry. This is about empowerment, about the moment when we encounter various life challenges. Together with Maudy Ayunda as the brand ambassador and Kamila Andini as the fashion film director, we intend to tell you that in every challenge, there is always the light that can guide us to revive and be stronger,” stated the General Manager of Frank & co., Rolly Soesanto, on the launch of ‘See the Light’ collection and fashion film at Park Hyatt, Jakarta (11/08).

Meanwhile, Maudy Ayunda, who also attended the event, shared her experiences with this project. According to Maudy, this project provides her with opportunities to explore more. Through this artwork, she delivered that the keyword is ‘empowerment’, a concept about finding the ‘light’ or power in every individual and sharing it with others.

“Every individual can create innovation, not only for themselves, but they also can share it to empower their environment,” stated Maudy Ayunda.

In the process of film creation, Kamila Andini stated the she tried to deliver the spirit of See the Light by capturing the emotion of the cast and the symbols which contained in the film. In addition to collaborating with Maudy Ayunda’s emotion, the director of Gadis Kretek series also cooperates with Indonesian well-known actor, Jerome Kurnia.

“I was so excited to work on this project because this collection aims to strongly deliver beauty, elegance, and self-empowerment. I hope you guys can understand the vision of Frank & co. and Maudy Ayunda through this film and interpret it for your own journey.  I hope everyone will enjoy this film,” stated Kamila Andini.

As a concrete action to share a positive impact on society, Frank & Co., through the See the Light collection, utilizes sustainable gold 18K. Applying this concept, Frank & Co. recycles old gold to create a fresh collection. This action is claimed to be very impactful in reducing gold mining activities and contributing to the environment.
