Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT PLN (Persero) has released an Electrinet program as an electricity and internet network installation program to meet the needs of PLN customers in the corporate sector.
In response to Indonesia’s rapid economic growth, the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Corporate Communications and TJSL PLN, Gregorius Adi Trianto, said that the company continues to provide innovations that meet customer needs, especially in supporting the needs of the business and industrial sectors which continue to grow after the pandemic.
“The presence of this Electrinet program is expected to meet the high demand for electricity and internet services, specifically in the corporate sector. With this complete package, we hope to facilitate our customers,” Gregorius affirmed.
In his further statement, Gregorius believes the new program would attract customer interest due to PLN system support that increasingly reaches the entire archipelago area. The PLN electricity system has been connected end-to-end with this rapid digital transformation. Moreover, he claimed that the PLN network has embedded fiber optic cables that guarantee high data transmission speeds.
With comprehensive coverage and stable connectivity, PLN EVP Marketing and Commerce, Fintje Lumembang, admitted that internet services support productivity in the business, industrial, and government sectors.
“The global internet access service is equipped with unlimited premium fiber optic, ensuring the information exchange with a high speed and security. I observe this technology has fulfilled the corporation’s necessities,” Fintje said
Available in multiple Indonesia’s regions
Electrinet services are available in various regions and have several package options, ranging from Lite to premium. Service locations will also be categorized into four Indonesian regions: Jakarta Greater Area, Java – Bali, Sumatra – Kalimantan, and Eastern Indonesia, such as Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua.
Regarding premium packages, PLN provides packages according to speeds starting from 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 200 Mbps, with prices from Rp3.2 million – Rp33.5 million, which will be adjusted according to region.
Regarding corporate broadband services, this network has up to 50 Mbps speeds with package prices starting from Rp1.4 – Rp2.3 million. Meanwhile, the Electrinet Lite package contained a speed up to 50 Mbps, with prices starting from Rp777,000 – Rp958,000. These Electrinet Lite packages include 1 Wifi Access Point, which customers can immediately utilize, while Electrinet Premium 200 Mbps is equipped with 2 Wifi Access Points.
“We expect our customers will accept this service. They can also visit the nearest PLN office to gain this internet service and obtain information via the PLN Mobile application.”
To attract more extensive corporation customers in the archipelago, the company also provides exceptional prices and discounts of up to 35%, valid until December 31, 2023, for new installations and electrical power augmentation.
