Heaptalk, Jakarta — Ovo returns to present the Shoptacular Super Catchback program in Ramadan 2024, following last year’s success which was participated by millions of users.

This gamification program with prizes of hundreds of millions of rupiah provides users with the opportunity to win holiday allowances in the form of Ovo points worth a total of Rp300,000,000, motorbikes, iPhone 15, and other prizes.

Users only need to make a transaction using Ovo Cash worth a minimum of Rp10,000 to get one token that can be used to play Catchback. Catchback tokens can be obtained by making transactions at thousands of Ovo offline and online merchants, including purchasing digital products using the Ovo Dynamic QRIS code scanning method via Ovo EDC at offline merchants, push to pay at Ovo online merchants, and purchasing digital products on the Ovo application.

Held for the second time, the Shoptakuler Super Catchback serves as Ovo’s appreciation for its loyal users. The more often users make transactions, the greater the opportunity to get Catchback tokens and win prizes worth hundreds of millions of rupiah. Last year, Angela Wandy, an Ovo user from Cibinong, West Java, won the main prize for a new Wuling Airev car in the first Super Catchback Shoptacular program.

Ovo Chief Operating Officer Eddie Martono said, “We hope that Ovo Shoptacular Super Catchback can provide a more enjoyable digital transaction experience, especially with various mechanisms for getting Catchback tokens which are very easy, only by making a minimum transaction of Rp10,000.”

The moments of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr consistently have a positive impact on digital transaction volume. According to the Grab Eid Report released in January 2024, 84% of Indonesians are ready to increase digital activities during Ramadan with 72% of them planning to use Grab services for food delivery and payment transactions. The hike in digital transactions and use of Ovo is also contributed by the increasing mobility of using online transportation services, shopping for household needs, delivering goods, and transferring money.

“In line with this, we are optimistic that more and more cashless payment users will participate in the Ovo Shoptakuler Super Catchback program,” concluded Eddie.
