Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Cosmax Indonesia will build its second cosmetics plant in Ciracas, East Jakarta to advance the beauty industry in Indonesia,
“The location is not far from the first factory. We have already budgeted over Rp1 trillion for its construction,” said Cheong Min-Kyoung, President Director of Cosmax Indonesia. As a leading South Korean beauty and health cosmetics OEM company recognized globally, Cheong said that the company implements multiple advanced technologies for cosmetic products such as Metagram, Blur Fix, and Cera Clear.
This cosmetics manufacturer collaborates with renowned international beauty brands to produce diverse cosmetic products. This initiative aims to serve customer needs with three production, development, and marketing options.
The original branding manufacturing (OBM) production method refers to the company designing and manufacturing products under its brand. Secondly, the original development manufacturing (ODM) method involves the company designing, developing, and manufacturing products specifically while offering suggestions and assistance to customers.
Finally, the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) method involves the company making products based on the customer’s product specifications. This method usually focuses solely on cosmetics production.
When creating a formula for a local brand, Cosmax considers the needs of the local Indonesian community, especially those related to acne-prone skin, dry skin, and sensitive skin. “We adjust to the needs of the Indonesian community, which has a tropical climate. We have also obtained halal certification and are the first to have vegan certification from the government. Some of our materials are sourced from Indonesia, while others are imported, proving safe for the skin. We also choose materials that meet high standards,” Cheong concluded.
